Marcellus Robert was unexpectedly born on October 28th, 2011 at 28 weeks 5 days gestation (click here for his birth story). He was 3 pounds 2 ounces, 16 inches long and doing great for his gestation. At 11 days old he was diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). He fought hard, but the next day November 9th, 2011 at 12 days old he took his last breaths in my arms.
This blog is about sharing his story, his life, his legacy, my love for him, and my struggle on this grief journey. I open my mother heart up to you.
